The Brown County Children’s Charity Golf Classic got its start in 2004 as part of a condition in a 2003 lease agreement with the Green Bay Packers and their use of Nitschke Field as a football practice field. All net proceeds are to be directed towards children’s services as determined by Brown County. To date over $350,000 has been raised.

Past recipients include Freedom House Ministries, CASA of Brown County, PALS Program, and NWTC Educational Foundation, Inc. to name a few of the worthy organizations. Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Community Relations Director, Kristen Mihaljevic shares that they are thrilled with the selection, as their agency continues to meet the demands of continued growth. “In the center of all we do are the children we serve.”
