GREEN BAY, Wis. (Nov. 28, 2017) — The U.S. Marines’ Toys for Tots program will make this holiday season more special for area children thanks to a partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeastern Wisconsin (BBBSNEW) and Shopko. Marines will shop for gifts for more than 100 Littles and their siblings between 9 and 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Shopko, 301 Bay Park Square.

The event highlights the Marines Toys for Tots program, which provides new toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children throughout the United States, including children enrolled in BBBSNEW’s mentoring programs and their siblings.

The gifts selected during Wednesday’s shopping event will be distributed during BBBSNEW’s holiday party on Dec. 14. Attendees will include Bigs and Littles and the Littles’ families, all of whom will be treated to dinner, visits with Santa, gifts and family activities.
