Brehanna Skaletski joins Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin
GREEN BAY, WI (Jan. 9, 2019) – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin (BBBSNEW) is pleased to announce that Brehanna Skaletski has joined the team in the new position of Director of Development. Her first day on the job was Oct. 29.
As Development Director, Brehanna is serving as the leader for agency fund development. She is the agency’s principal major gift fundraiser and manages the agency’s annual giving program, secures major gifts from individuals, develop relationships with new donors and fundraising event sponsors, and directs growth for grants from foundations and other community resources.
“As our agency continues to grow in the number of children served each year, the acquisition of new funding resources has become critical,” says Katie Hess, executive director. “The Board of Directors and I believe the time is right for this position to be added and Brehanna is a great fit.”
Previously, Skaletski held positions as the business development and operations manager for BayCare Clinic and the marketing and events manager for Downtown Green Bay, Inc. and Olde Main Street, Inc.
Brehanna is deeply involved in the business community as a Leadership Green Bay graduate. She serves on committees and boards for Definitely De Pere, Young Professional Advisory Council, Women’s Fund of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, Management Women and Leadership Green Bay.
Skaletski received bachelor’s degrees in communication, sociology and social work from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and will receive a master’s degree in business administration from St. Norbert College in spring.
