BBBSNEW welcomes five new members to the team!

As an organization dedicated to empowering the youth in our community, BBBSNEW relies heavily on the support from volunteers, donors, staff, and the Board of Directors.
As such, we are excited to welcome five new board member to the Big Brothers Big Sisters Board of Directors! The Board of Directors plays an important role in oversight and strategic planning of the agency and is integral to the success of the organization, and we are thrilled to have new additions to the BBBSNEW team.
We would like to extend a heartfelt welcome to:
Dr. Chelsea Faase
Dr. Faase has spent her life dedicated to education and the notion that we are all students of this earth. Dr. Faase obtained her Ph. D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is currently teaching full-time in the Leadership, Literacy, and Social Foundations department at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Chelsea spends her summers with today’s youth where she leads and directs GLAD Camp (Girl’s Leadership And Development).
Dr. Corey A. King
Dr. King earned his Doctorate in Educational Administration & Leadership from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and currently serves as Vice Chancellor for University Inclusivity & Student Affairs at UW-Green Bay. Dr. King has worked hard to establish an Urban Male Institute focused on the recruitment, retention, and graduation of urban males and a First-Generation Student Success Center.
Marissa R. Meli
Ms. Meli earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law and her B.A. from Northwestern University and is in her fifth season as Corporate Transactions Counsel for the Green Bay Packers. Prior to joining the Packers, Marissa was an attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice. She also serves on the Brown County Library Board of Trustees, the Wisconsin Humane Society Board of Directors, and the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce Leadership Council.
Lisa Metcalf
Ms. Metcalf is a believer that everything happens for a reason, including her involvement with BBBSNEW. She studied music and Spanish at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Lisa currently works for Lockton Companies as the Vice President and Green Bay Practice Leader. In addition to her work, Lisa serves with Lockton DEI Leadership Committee and Lockton Women in Leadership Steering Committee. She is the founder of DisruptHR- Green Bay/Fox Valley and volunteers at Golden House and Harbor House.
Jamila Seaton
Ms. Seaton is highly motivated by her relationship with her family and is a Senior Healthcare Economics Analyst for UnitedHealth Group. She studied Mathematics and Poverty Studies at Washington and Lee University before completing her Master of Public in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of South Florida. Jamila was integral in the opening of First World Dialysis in Kingston, Jamaica, and she continues to serve on their board as Human Resources Director. She also serves as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin.
