Kicking Off Miles for Matches Presented by Prevea

Time to start training for Miles for Matches Presented by Prevea!
Miles for Matches has been a popular fundraising event for BBBSNEW for years, and this year we are excited to announce some changes this year.
First, we are changing the traditional format of our week-long company competition. This year, five local businesses will compete on stationary bikes on Friday, August 4 at the same time inside Broken Spoke Bike Studio in downtown Green Bay! They will try to see which team can bike the most miles from 7 am to 4 pm and also which team can raise the most money for BBBSNEW!
We are so excited to have the following businesses competing this year:
But that’s not all! On Saturday, August 5, we invite you to be a part of our first community bike ride! Whether you’re an advanced rider, a beginner, or somewhere in-between you can take part! We have routes ranging from 4 to 27 miles, so there’s something for everyone. Registration will take place on the Green Bay City Deck near Broken Spoke at 9 am. There will be booths along the City Deck, featuring area businesses and organizations, music, and a bike raffle!
By signing up for the community bike ride, not only will you get to experience the fun of cycling, but you’ll also be supporting a great cause. All proceeds from Miles for Matches go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin, an organization that provides one-to-one mentoring relationships for children in need.
Can’t join us or want to make a bigger impact? We are excited to offer a peer-to-peer fundraising option for Miles for Matches. You can create your own fundraising page and invite friends and family. We’re thrilled to announce that an anonymous donor has generously offered to match donations raised during Miles for Matches. This means that every dollar you donate will be doubled, making twice the impact on the lives of children in Northeast Wisconsin!
As a thank you for your fundraising efforts, anyone who raises $250 or more will receive a unique bike jersey! This jersey is a great way to show off your support for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin. The first 100 people to register for Saturday’s Community Ride will receive a t-shirt! So, what are you waiting for?
