We had a blast hosting our event at Green Bay Country Club, welcoming 114 golfers to the course. Before we kicked off the beautiful day, a Little Brother in our program and his mother spoke about the impact of Big Brothers Big Sisters and reminded golfers what their donations mean to the community!
There were games and other activities on the course for golfers, including the Longest “little” drive, the Big Advantage, Hole-in-One, a shot tracer courtesy of Mulligan’s Aerial Productions, and a ‘cuddle shuttle’ with adorable and adoptable puppies from Happily Ever After Animal Shelter. Mulligans and colored balls were also available for purchase.
Golfers could also purchase raffle tickets. All raffle Items were donated by other local businesses. Once groups finished golfing their 18 holes, they were welcome to stay, mingle, and enjoy a small buffet. Board Member and Big Sister Kim Vachon spoke about what it means to be a Big and encouraged guests to sign up.
Everyone’s support allows us to offer our mentoring program to local families. Big Brothers Big Sisters of NEW is dedicated to our mission of supporting youth mentoring that ignites youth’s power and promise.
