Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin is a donor and volunteer supported nonprofit organization that has been professionally matching area youth with volunteer mentors since 1972.

With a staff of 13 and 24-member volunteer Board of Directors, we serve more than 600 children annually.

Current Opportunities

Match Support Specialist – Part Time .7 FTE

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin has an opportunity for a motivated professional to support and sustain youth mentoring relationships. This part-time position, .7 FTE 28 hours, is responsible for providing match support and training to ensure child safety, positive impacts for youth and a strong sense of affiliation with Big Brothers Big Sisters on the part of the mentor; and tracking measures/outcomes of mentoring relationships.

  • A Bachelors degree in a human services-related field along with the ability to work flexible hours to meet client needs is required. Regular hours to include late afternoon and early evening.
  • Experience in assessment and relationship development with youth and adult populations; understanding of child development and family dynamics; demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills as well as sound judgment. Bilingual a plus.
