FUND THE GAP
BBBSNEW overcame many challenges throughout 2020/21 to ensure our Bigs and Littles stayed connected, but there is still so much more that needs to be done for our matches and the children waiting to be matched.
Due to the continued effect the pandemic is having on local businesses and public safety, BBBSNEW has made the decision to cancel multiple in-person fundraising events including our major year-end gala, Taste of the Town. The funds raised by these events play a huge role in funding the programs that support our Bigs and Littles. To offset this issue BBBSNEW is introducing a new updated version of our Fund the Gap campaign.
OUR LITTLES STILL FACE THE DAY-TO-DAY STRUGGLES OF:
Emotional and physical issues due to isolation
Decreased learning capabilities due to virtual learning
Inappropriate behavior due to lack of supervision
Need for Bigs to mentor
Your donation will support BBBSNEW programs that work to keep Littles connected with their Bigs. Bigs can play a crucial role in a Little’s life providing emotional support, assistance with schoolwork, social guidance, and most importantly, being a good listener.

The current situation has caused our agency to change ways in programing and fundraising, leaving us at an estimated $225,000 gap in our budget due to setbacks. We are looking for you to support our Fund the Gap campaign and help us close our gap.
In additional to donations, this new Fund the Gap campaign will also feature an on-line auction.
The auction will run from Thursday Nov 11 to Sunday Nov. 14.
