Warm enough for the sap to flow but cold enough to bundle up for winter, our matches enjoyed the beautiful Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve in Suamico to learn the history of maple syrup, tree biology and experience the syrup making process. We were treated to ice cream with maple syrup too!
